Effects of Acidic Beverages on Color Stability of Bulk-Fill Composites with Different Viscosities

چکیده

The aim of this in vitro study is to investigate the effects acidic beverages on discoloration bulk-fill composites with different viscosities. 144 disc-shaped specimens (8mm diameter × 2mm thick) were prepared from four composite resins including a nanohybrid (Filtek Ultimate), two packable Bulk Fill, Tetric N Ceram Fill), and flowable (Tetric Flow Fill). each group divided into 3 subgroups submerged distilled water, orange juice coke (n=12). Color difference (∆E) measured using CIELab color space compact spectrophotometer (VITA Easyshade) at baseline after 30 days immersion. Data analyzed two-way ANOVA Tukey's HSD post-hoc tests (P<0.05). Two-way revealed that both material type staining solution significantly influenced ∆E values (P<0.001). Immersion resulted greater significant over time comparison water (∆E=7.0) (∆E=7.7) restoratives showed highest change immersion juice. This suggests above clinically acceptable threshold (∆E>2.7) was observed for all tested. It can be speculated has more negative effect stability compared coke. Additionally, prone than condensable composites.
